EGYPT, MARCH 2027

First Edition

March 11 - 23, 2027
12 Nights/ 13 Days

For thousands of years, mystics, travelers, and students of the ancient mysteries have journeyed to the Nile Valley, drawn not only by its extraordinary history but by the intelligence
that still pulses within the land’s temples,
written within the walls, alive within her waters
and memory banks of desert sand.

BLUE LOTUS RISING

A JOURNEY THROUGH ANCIENT KEMET

AN INVITATION.
Celebrate with us on a journey of deep listening, weaving together adventure, ecology, sacred waters, the ancient mysteries, archeology, and well-being. Our trip has been thoughtfully considered to create an experience of renewal, exceptional quality, depth, and unique access.

I created this trip to bring together the things that continue to nourish and fascinate me: ancient Egyptian culture, sacred waters, movement, ecological restoration, ritual, and the people whose knowledge and traditions are still alive today.

Rather than simply leading you from one monument to another, I want to invite you into a deeper experience of these ancient lands.

with love,
Kaylee

March 11-March 23, 2027
12 Nights/ 13 Days

There are places on Earth that seem to exist beyond time, where the veil is thin, beckoning us to listen and to remember that we are part of something far greater than ourselves.

We begin our journey at the crown of the ancient world, the pyramids of Giza. Connecting with the waters of the Nile, under the waxing moon, we sail deeper into the African continent, visiting ancient sites along the way with an Egyptologist. Our trip culminates with the full moon on Heissa island in Nubia, often known as the womb of the world. Here, we will restore Blue Lotus to her native habitat.

The south was known as the Upper Kingdom, land of the Blue Lotus, Nymphaea Caerulea, whose ancient Egyptian name was Sesen.

Our journey is designed to restore balance, within and without. Our trip has a thoughtful rhythm that allows guests to engage deeply while still honoring moments of stillness, creativity and renewal.

PROPHECY OF THE BLUE LOTUS

A reflection by Kaylee Gibson

There is a prophecy I encountered along the Nile,
that when the Blue Lotus returns, balance will be restored on Earth.

Drawn by a deep fascination to Egyptian Blue Lotus, Nymphaea Caerulea,
I traveled through Kemet, to the land of Isis (Auset)
Often called by those from there, The Womb of the Earth
listening to the plant, to the river,
and to the stewards devoted to restoring the plant to her home.

Once abundant along the banks of the Nile
Blue Lotus has nearly disappeared from its native habitat.

Her absence is tied to a larger rupture
the construction of the Aswan High Dam completed in 1970,
which transformed the river’s natural cycles
and displaced over 90,000 Nubians
whose lives had been deeply interwoven with the Nile for several millennia

The dam interrupted the river’s ancient flooding cycle
the very intelligence that nourished the fertile land
And gave Kemet its name, Black Land; referring to the fertile soil

Entire villages, ancestral lands, and temples were submerged,
including the Temple of Isis, later relocated by UNESCO

One could say it is tied to an even larger collective rupture
In Ancient Egypt, Blue Lotus represented the divine feminine
while papyrus represented the divine masculine.
They grew together harmoniously, aiding one another
Today, solely papyrus grows; missing its counterpart

For many, Blue Lotus is not just a plant
but a conscious being
A symbol of renewal, purification, and the divine feminine.
Medicine for the heart.

While tracing the Nile’s course,

I was struck by the river itself mirroring the shape of a lotus.
Her roots reaching deep into the African continent
Her delta blooming into the Mediterranean,

The Lotus revealed to me,
As balance is cultivated within
It is reflected without

As the divine feminine begins to rise within
So too, does the lotus
And the masculine rises to meet her

What returns to the Earth
reflects what we are restoring within ourselves.

The Blue Lotus does not come back by chance
She returns as we remember.

By participating in this journey, you become a part of an unfolding prophecy. Our trip will culminate by planting Blue Lotus on the banks of the Nile by an Acacia Tree, known to Egyptians, as The Tree of Life.

It is through the womb that a new world is born.

The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) belongs to one of the earliest lineages of flowering plants on Earth, dating back to well over 100 million years.

Each morning, in ancient Egypt (Kemet) the flower emerged from the waters and opened with the rising sun, becoming a living symbol of resurrection, eternal life, and the unfolding of consciousness. The heliacal rising of Sirius, Auset’s star in the summer sky, signaled the yearly flooding of the Nile, bringing life-giving water back to the desert, restoring Ma’at (balance), marking the new year.

Across cultures, the lotus continues to be one of humanity’s most enduring symbols of creation, renewal, and awakening.

THE RHYTHM OF OUR JOURNEY

While we will visit many extraordinary sites, the journey also has spaciousness. Time for exploration is balanced with rest, reflection, creativity, and practices that allow us to integrate what we encounter along the way.

Throughout our time together, we will offer various practices including yoga, movement, meditation, yoga nidra, and sound journeys. Each guest will receive a poultice massage from Micha Merrick, working with local herbs of the Nile basin, including Blue Lotus.

Our days move between temple and river, movement and stillness, shared experience and time to oneself.

NOTES ON OUR JOURNEY

The landscapes of Kemet offer more than stories of an ancient civilization; they are living intelligence, and invite us into a relationship with timeless wisdom that continues to speak to those who arrive with openness and reverence.

In Kemet, it is as if one senses the arc of evolution across eons.

There are keys here that seem to open gates restoring pathways in our consciousness of innate wisdom, inspiration and sovereignty, guiding us in the next phase of our lives, and the world we co-create.

Here, we allow ancient perspectives to illuminate the present.
The Egyptian worldview recognized the inseparable relationship between humanity, the natural world, and the cosmos, reminding us that harmony is cultivated through reverence, participation, and right relationship, MA’AT. The ways of the ancients feel especially meaningful as we navigate an era of profound change and ask how we might live with greater integrity, beauty, and care.

As we travel together, we are invited to move beyond sightseeing and into presence. To meet each temple as a place of contemplation. We receive the Nile as a teacher and allow the silence of the desert to reveal what cannot be heard amid the noise of everyday life.

The landscapes we cross often mirror the landscapes within us, offering unexpected moments of insight, remembrance and renewal. Whether you arrive with clear intentions or simply a sense that something is calling, may this experience deepen your relationship with your heart, the living world, and with the cosmos.

It is an honor to invite you on this journey.

A note on Auset/ Isis:

Auset, commonly known by her Greek name, Isis, was one of the mother goddesses of ancient Egypt.  She is associated with fertility, birth, protection, healing and renewal.

Philae became one of her most sacred centers.  In ancient Egyptian belief, it was associated with the burial of Osiris and with Isis’s magical restoration of him.  This gave the island profound themes of death, rebirth and regeneration.  During the Hellenistic period, her worship spread through the Mediterranean.

Life aboard moves with the rhythm of the water—sailing, swimming, gathering for meals, practicing together, and watching the waxing moon rise above the Nile.

Along the way, we step ashore to encounter temples, ancient sites, and landscapes that have gathered life along the river for millennia, before arriving in Aswan.

Magdalene offers fresh organic meals, a yoga room, and a sun and moon deck for rest, practice, enjoyment and contemplation.
