Booking & Payment
To reserve your place, a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 USD is required.
A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your deposit.
Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements, including flights, visas, and transportation, are your responsibility and at your own cost.
We are not liable for any delays, cancellations, or issues related to travel companies, nor for any irregularities in your travel documentation.
Cancellation Policy
The deposit secures your spot on the trip and is non-refundable.
Final payment due: December 15, 2027
100% refund (excluding deposit): through November 15th, 2026
50% refund (excluding deposit): November 16th–December 15th, 2026
No refunds: after December 15, 2026
Liability Disclaimer
By booking, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and well-being throughout the retreat. Kaylee Gibson and Micha Merrick are not liable for any injuries, medical conditions, or emotional challenges that may arise or be aggravated during or after the retreat.
We are also not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
Right to Cancel or modify Program
We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or modify trips due to inadequate sign-ups, staffing changes, or for other unforeseen circumstances that make the program economically or logistically infeasible for us to operate as planned. In this case, we will either offer you the choice of an alternative itinerary (guides, dates, location and/or other conditions may be different, but we will do our best to match the intention and spirit of the original program), or a full refund of your payment if we cannot provide an alternative option.
We reserve the right to cancel programs or modify itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control that make the trip unsafe or impossible to continue. All trips are subject to itinerary changes or cancellation for a wide variety of reasons including, but not limited to, weather, natural disasters, wildfires, poor air quality, landslides, park or public land closures, trail and/or road closures, acts of God, pandemics, political events such as terrorism, strikes, civil disturbances, or changes in law. NO REFUNDS will be made due to unforeseen conditions that are beyond our control, and we are not responsible for any travel costs or additional expenses incurred by you in preparation for the cancelled program. Please see information about trip insurance below to protect yourself.
Travel Insurance
Nobody books travels with the intention of canceling, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. We highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions.

At a minimum, health insurance in Egypt is required for our travels together (around $40).

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and emotionally able to participate in the journey. Please inform us before booking of any medical conditions, mobility limitations, allergies, or other circumstances that may affect your participation or require accommodations.

Health & Well-Being
Our retreat and voyage is open to all levels. All body types and fitness levels are welcome, and modifications will be provided as needed.
If you have experienced any serious physical or emotional illness in the past 5 years, are pregnant, or are under medical or psychiatric supervision, please inform us at the time of booking. If you are unsure about your ability to participate, contact us in advance to discuss your circumstances.

- War, threats of war, or terrorist actions
- Airport closures or industrial strikes
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or unforeseen travel disruptions
- Illness of participants, family members, or pets
- Any other events beyond our control
